Since the end of Lockdown 01, we have continued to work on our Covid safety so that both our customers and staff stay safe.
What we are doing:
NHS Track and Trace:
On entry, we have our NHS Track and Trace QR code displayed for scanning.
For those who do not have the app or are not tech-savvy, just ask a member of the team who will be happy to help guide you through the process.
Sanitisation:
Next to the door and menus, we have our sanitisation station. We require that all our guests sanitise their hands on entry.
The team will make sure that their hands are also sanitised and that the menus are cleaned after each use.
Masks:
Masks are to be worn when entering and standing. This includes getting up from the table to use the toilet etc.
Our team will also wear masks at all times.
Table Service:
We have always offered table service at the Secret Garden but due to the pandemic, it is now mandatory. Please remain seated and one of our team will come to you to take your order.If you need anything at any point then just ask a member of the team and they’ll be happy to help.
Cutlery and Condiments:
As you would expect, we always make sure our cutlery and condiments are kept clean but now there are a few differences.
Staff will always bring these to your table and condiments are now only in single-use packets/sachets. If you require extra sauces etc, please ask a member of the team and do not get them yourselves.
Children:
Most children (and parents) are well behaved and sit at their tables during their visit but we all know the excitement that the thought of waffles can bring.
Due to the pandemic, we request that all children remain seated during your visit with us. Any parents that are unable to keep their children seated will be asked to leave.
